Helen J. Woods, 69, of Millersburg, Iowa died Saturday, February 25, 2006 at the University of Iowa Hospital in Iowa City, Iowa after a sudden illness. A memorial visitation will be held on Monday, February 27, 2006 from 5:00 till 7:00 PM at the Millersburg United Methodist Church. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, February 28, 2006 at 10:00 AM at the Millersburg United Methodist Church with Rev. Ben Wilson officiating. Inurnment will follow the service at the Zion Cemetery located north of Millersburg. Following the inurnment service lunch will be held back at the Millersburg United Methodist Church. Survivors include her husband Marvin Woods of Millersburg; son Mark (Gayle) Woods of South Amana; daughter Mari Woods of Millersburg; and five grandchildren. Helen Joyce Septer was born September 25, 1936 to Harold and Iva (Wiedemier) Septer in Millersburg, Iowa. She married Marvin Woods on July 2, 1960 in Millersburg, Iowa. Helen was a Licensed Practical Nurse for the Marengo Hospital. Memorials may be directed to Millersburg United Methodist Church in Helen’s name.
