Addie Lowena Eilers

Addie Lowena Eilers, 75, 14434 Buffalo Road, Anamosa, died Monday, October 10, 2005 at the University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics following a brief illness. Memorial Service: 10:30 A.M. Wednesday at First Congregational Church in Anamosa. Inurnment: Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery, Anamosa. Friends may call Wednesday from 9 AM to service time at the church. The Rev. Bryan Crousore will officiate. Survivors include her children, Sue Larson, William Jr. (Nancy) Eilers, Mike (Sharon) Eilers, Teresa (Jack) Dietiker, Gary (Kate) Eilers, Lori (Matt) Sams, Marguerite (Lance) Humpal all of Anamosa, and Pat (Ivan) Schuetz of Salem, NE, Kathleen (Duaine) Brink of Redwood Falls, MN; 20 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and a sister, Selma Johnston of Anamosa. She was preceded in death by her parents, a son Jack, a son David and his wife Wanda, her husband William, two son-in-laws Phil Larson and Mike Walker, a brother Robert Klinefelter, and a sister Rachel Main. Addie was born May 25, 1930 near Morley the daughter of Lowell and Susan (Jones) Klinefelter. She married William Eilers, Sr. on February 28, 1947 in Anamosa. Addie always had a smile on her face, and she loved spending time with her family. A memorial fund has been established. Local arrangements by the Cremation Society of Eastern Iowa.
