Norman Ambrose Lemaster

Norman (Bud) Ambrose LeMaster, 79, of Keokuk, died Monday, November 1, 2005 at the Keokuk Area Hospital in Keokuk, Iowa. Visitation with family and friends will be from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM on Friday, November 4, 2005 and a memorial service at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 5, 2005, both at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah''s Witnesses located at 2340 McKinley Avenue in Keokuk, Iowa. Norman is survived by his daughter Jonnie Sue (Greg) Gillip of Wapello, IA; two sons Kerry (Peggy) LeMaster of Keokuk, IA and James (Pat) LeMaster of Marshalltown, IA. Also surviving, are two sisters, Mary Helen Ringstrom of Keokuk, IA and Della May (Harry) Hibbitts of St. Petersburg, FL; one brother-in-law Dean (Sharon) Seltzer of Luray, MO; twelve grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Norman''s wife, parents and two brothers preceded him in death. Norman Ambrose LeMaster was born July 19, 1926 to Garland and Nettie (Wilkiens) LeMaster in Clark County, Missouri. He married Doris Elizabeth Seltzer on March 28, 1952 in Keokuk, Iowa. Doris passed away on July 13, 2003. Norman was employed as a mechanic and bus driver for the Keokuk Community School District and worked for many garages and other businesses in the Keokuk area. He also ran his own garage for several years before he retired. He also delivered for Big River Box for several years after retirement. Norman was a member of the Keokuk Kingdom Hall of Jehovah''s Witnesses. Memorials may be directed to the American Lung Association in Norman''s name.
