Johneta L. Konen, 74, 1414 Center Point Road NE died Sunday, June 13, 2004 at St. Luke''s Hospital following a long illness. Surviving are her husband, John of Cedar Rapids; two sons, Jeff and his wife Shirley of Cincinnati, OH and Dan and his wife Karen of Cedar Rapids. Also surviving are five grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents. Johneta was born July 29, 1929 the daughter of John and Nora (Spicer) Stribling. She married John M. Konen on September 24, 1947 in Cedar Rapids. Johneta was a sales clerk at Armstrong''s Department Store.
