Obituary for Richard Duane Schaffer

EVANSDALE - Richard Duane Schaffer, 46, of Morgan City, LA, formerly of Evansdale, died Wednesday November 26 in Evansdale of cancer. He was born March 8, 1957, in Waterloo, son of Andrew Sr. and Marzella Lenze Schaffer. He married Audrey Motsinger on September 3, 1983 in Waterloo. They were later divorced. Mr. Schaffer had been self employed as a carpenter . Survived by: a daughter, Tonya Schaffer and a stepdaughter, Brandy Motsinger both of Waterloo: three brothers, Andrew Jr. (Rose) of Evansdale, Allen of Evansdale, Dennis of Colorado; and a sister Kathryn Cook of Evansdale. Preceded in death by ; his parents Services: 6:30 P.M. Monday at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Evansdale. Arrangements by: Cremation Society of Eastern Iowa
