Obituary for Mae P. Garrow

Mae P. Garrow: 71, of 185 3rd Street, Calamus died Wednesday morning at Genesis Medical Center in Davenport following a very short illness. A memorial service will be held at a later date at the home of her grandson, Rocky Halstead, in Atalissa. Inurnment will be in Calamus Cemetery. Mae is survived by her husband, David Garrow, a daughter, Teresa Bealer of Mason City, Iowa, a grandson Rocky Halstead and wife Tonya of Atalissa, Iowa and two great grandsons Cody and Cameron of Atalissa. She was preceded in death by her parents. Mae was born May 19, 1931 in Muscatine, Iowa, the daughter of Henry and Pearl (Schmitt) Kile. She married David Garrow on April 10, 1976 at the Memorial Christian Church in Rock Island, Illinois. She worked as manager of a retail clothing outlet in the North Park Shopping Mall in Davenport.
