Nina D. Scarth
Nina Dougherty Scarth, 92, of 1630 Wildwood Drive NE, passed on peacefully Thursday afternoon, April 25, 2002 at her son’s home. She is survived by her son, Robert Scarth and wife Linda of Cedar Rapids, two brothers, Oran Dougherty of Venice, Florida and Harold Dougherty of Greenwood, Indiana and one granddaughter and two great grandsons. She was preceded in death by several brothers and a sister. Nina was born March 10, 1910 in Shelbyville, Indiana, the daughter of Ira and Iva (Fisher) Dougherty. She married Geoffrey Scarth on July 9, 1932 in Louisville, Kentucky. Geoffrey died 1994. Arrangements are with the Cremation Society of Eastern Iowa.
