Robert Dale Visser, 90, passed away July 5, 2024. Robert (Bob) was a fixture of the Jones County Engineer’s Office up to his retirement in 1996, a life-long gardener, faithful church member, and loving husband and father.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents, wife Beverly, brothers Donald and Melvin, daughter Kelly, and grandson Timothy. He is survived by his son Leonard and his wife Gale, daughters Barbara and Jen, four grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, July 19 at United Methodist Church of Mount Vernon, 304 1st St. SW, Mount Vernon, IA.
