Mineko "Minnie" McDowell

Minnie had a longer time than she wanted or anticipated at Hospice. But i told her,"Minnie , you don't get to decide when it is time to go," and she would say "I know". I would tell her this gives all the people who love you to get used to the idea that you're not going to get better. I enjoyed the days going to visit with her at her house. We would talk , laugh, watch the birds, watch the food network, which i learned to like cause that's what she liked and told a white lie when she asked if i liked this show. Her hard work and never missing work is what kept her in the good shape she was, working till she was 80. One day she was mixed up and kept asking me if we had to get to work and i would tell her "Minnie we worked enough we don't have to do that anymore, and she would say ok." You have worked hard enough for to long, now you get to finally rest. I will never forget you, i have so many memories to last me for a very long time. Thank you for being my best friend!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!As we always said to each other when leaving, i say it today with sad feelings,I LOVE YOU MINNIE

Awe.... Mini. I am Happy that you finally got what you wanted. I teased you many times that you were my Favorite Employee. I wasn't teasing Mini. You always could be counted on to be at work even if you had to bust through snow drift's higher than you. I will Miss You and I Love You Carol
