Curtis Gardner

Uncle Curtis was the favorite uncle of many nieces and nephews, he will be missed, however many wonderful memories will never be forgotten. Summers & holidays on the family farm with the entire family were something to look forward to by everyone. The Moore/Gardner farm has been in the family continuously for 115 years! All of Curtis's siblings have gone before him, now he can rest in peace! Remembered Always, Gary

Uncle Curtis will be sorely missed. He is loved by all of us nephews and nieces and we enjoyed spending time on the farm as children. "Helping" him with the milking, and getting new chicks into the incubator. Memories will last for ever. He being the last of his generation to pass, it marks the end of an era. Love and peace, Janice

Yes, Uncle Curtis was my favorite uncle! I grew up only a mile from him and Grandma Gardner, and also have many memories! Who could forget pulling taffy on the back porch during Christmas, or the ice cold watermelon from the milk cooler in the barn on the 4th of July? He was a dedicated and hard working farmer who truly loved his work. And I remember how well he loved and cared for Grandma for so many years. He married Shirley the summer after I left home, but we visited them whenever we were back in Iowa. Shirley also loved the farm and took perfect care of that beautiful home! They shared so much love and joy! Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of his saints. Psalm 116:15

The end of an era... so very sorry to hear of Curtis' passing. He was my grandfather's youngest sibling. Best wishes from Northern California to the family.
