Carol V. Prochaska, 93, formerly of Cedar Falls, Iowa, passed away on Saturday, June 24, 2017at the Rehabilitation Center of Lisbon after a short illness. A private family inurnment will be held at a later date.
Carol Virginia Prochaska was born on May 1, 1924 to William E.A. and Amelia (Medenwald) Slightam in Madison, Wisconsin. She was united in marriage to George V. Prochaska on June 19, 1949 in Madison, Wisconsin. Carol received her BA in Library Science from University of Northern Iowa.
Survivors include her children, Mark (Aimee Gourley) Prochaska of Edina, MN; Janet (David) Baker of Cedar Rapids; and 4 grandchildren, Elizabeth Baker, Catherine Baker, Annalynne Prochaska and Quinn Prochaska.
Carol was preceded in death by her husband, George V. Prochaska; and parents.
