Allen R Chapman, 78, of Cedar Rapids died August 16, 2014 at Grandview Nursing Care Center in Oelwein following an extended illness due to injuries from a bicycle accident in 2009.
He is survived by his wife Paula Chapman; two sons Chris and Stuart; granddaughters Shannon and Carly; great grandson Logan; his beloved Carrie, faithful friend Gina and two beautiful golden retrievers.
Allen R. Chapman was born March 19, 1936 the son of Frank and Maurine (Allen) Chapman. Allen owned and operated Allen Motor Company most of his life. The dealership was in the Allen family over 100 years.
Memorials may be designated to the St. Luke’s Foundation in care of Therapy Unit.
