Rhonda Riede, 77, of Davenport, Iowa, passed away April 24, 2026, surrounded by her family.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Davenport American Legion Post 26 on Saturday, May 9th, 2026, from 1:00 to 5:00p.m., where family and friends are invited to gather and share memories.
Rhonda was born August 13, 1948, in Davenport to Melvin and Hildegarde “Perky” Hintze. She married Neal Riede, in 1968. She was a dedicated member of the American Legion Auxiliary for over 20 years, serving in various positions.
Her greatest joy was her family: husband, Neal; children, Samantha (Gary) Hendricks, Michelle (Duane) Allers, Shawn (Mark) Haltom-Riede, and LeeAnn (Scott) Swanson; 10 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; siblings, Cheryl Lillyblade, Melvin (Diane) Hintze, and Sandy (Rick) Tillman.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Legion Auxiliary Awards.
