David John Keith
David John Keith, 72, of Denver, Iowa, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, November 11, 2023, at Denver Sunset Home. Per his wishes, he will be cremated. A memorial for David is pending at this time. Iowa Cremation is assisting with arrangements.
David was born in Waterloo, Iowa on December 27, 1950, to John and Beatrice (Sherwood) Keith. He graduated from Waterloo East High School in 1969. After he graduated, he served in the United States Army. David worked at John Deere until his retirement in 2003. He married Beverly Bergmann on April 24, 2000, in Denver, Colorado.
He was known for having a good time everywhere he went and was quite the joker. David enjoyed motorcycles and spending time with his family. He loved spending time with his grandsons and enjoyed watching them become the accomplished young men they are today.
David is survived by his loving wife, Beverly Bergmann; his son, Billy (Jen) Keith; grandchildren, Braden and Max Keith; sister, Merry Halleck; sisters-in-law, Mary Deutsch and Mary Leer; nephews, Kelly (Stephanie) Leer and Jeff (Kim) Leer; and his niece, Jamie Leer.
He is preceded in death by his parents; stepbrothers, James and William Leer; nephew, Todd Leer; and brother-in-law, Craig Halleck.
