Daniel Bruce Dyer, 54, of Cedar Rapids, died at home Sunday, May 7, 2017. Celebration of Life will be at 11 a.m. Friday, May 12, at Zion Lutheran Church, Hiawatha, by Pastor Daniel Krueger. Visitation will be from 9 to 10:45 a.m. Friday at the church.
Survivors include his sisters, Pamela (Jeff) Brammann, Sandra (Steve) Black Wolf, Wendy Dyer, Laura (Dave) Kenneson, Kimberly Morning, Kellie (Doug) Franklin and Kerrie (Bryan) Merck; his mother and stepfather, Nancy and Carl Morning; nine nieces; and 11 nephews.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Leonard and Erna Petsel.
Born March 29, 1963, in Tucson, Ariz., he graduated from Kennedy High School in Cedar Rapids. He was employed at Wal-Mart. Danny loved music, fishing, pool and his truck. He was a loving son and enjoyed spending time with his large family and all of his nieces and nephews.
