Ronald Lee Cameron
Ronald L. Cameron, 68, a resident of the Iowa Veterans Home in Marshaltown Iowa passed away on Saturday July 7, 2017 at the VA Medical Center in Iowa City following a long illness. A celebration of life will be held on Sunday July 16, 2017 from 1 to 4pm at Nick’s Bar and Grill, 4958 Johnson Ave NW Cedar Rapids, IA.
Ronald was born May 12, 1949 to Clair and Alberta (Deeds) Cameron in Waterloo, IA. He served with the Marine Corp in Viet Nam and later worked in the computer industry. He was a member of Toastmasters International and enjoyed traveling the world.
He is survived by three children; Christapher Cameron of Cedar Rapids, Michael (Amanda) Cameron of Marion, and Carrianne (Scott) Amling of Cedar Rapids. Also surviving are seven grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
