Michael Henry Mangelsdorf
Michael H. Mangelsdorf, 70, of Lake Wales, FL and formerly from Camanche, IA, passed away on Friday July 7, 2017 at his home in Lake Wales, Florida. Memorial Services will be held at a later date in Iowa.
Mike was born May 27, 1947 to Walter and Lillian (Ziebarth) Mangelsdorf in
Davenport, Iowa. He served with the US Navy and later worked for Quad City Consolidation and Distribution where he was the Corporate Vice President.
Mike was an avid outdoorsman enjoying fishing and hunting. He also enjoyed shooting trap, skeet and sporting clays at gun clubs in Illinois, Iowa and Florida.
He is survived by his wife, Bonnie of 31 years. He is also survived by two daughters, Michelle Metzler (Scott), Susan Cantrill, stepdaughter Beth Carlson (Dan), stepson Steve Millard, seven grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and a sister, Louise Fells, of Auburndale, Florida.
Michael is preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Nancy Crownover Stoltenberg.
