William Harry Stock
Mr. William Harry Stock, of Centerville, IA, passed away on Friday, January 20, 2017 at Mercy Medical Center in Centerville. A celebration of life gathering will be held at a later date.
William (Bill) Harry Stock was born to Kenneth R. Northway and Orba A. (Black) Northway on January 14, 1941 in Creston, Iowa. On October 20,1961 William married H. Charlene Stock . William served in the Air Force on active duty from 1958 to 1964, in the Army Guard from 1975 to 1980, and in the Air Guard Fighter Wing Munitions from 1980 to 2000. He retired from the Bemis Corporation as a machinist in 2005.
William is survived by his wife of 55 years, Charlene Stock of Centerville; son Mike Stock of Centerville; son Eddie Stock (Tonja) of South Carolina; son Steven Stock (Kim) of Jefferson City, Missouri; daughter Kathy Ewing (Dan) of Centerville; 10 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; one brother along with several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and one son, Ricky Stock.
