Rodney Dean Sobek was born to Fred Edward Sobek and Ethel Marie (Netland) Sobek on July 3, 1958 in Belmond, Iowa. Rodney is survived by his sister Sheryll (John) Klesel of Garner, niece Wendy (Mark) Paca of Clear Lake, nephew Dennis (Jenelle) Klesel of Eden Prairie, MN, and niece Annette Klesel of Mason City. He enjoyed golfing, playing pool, and was an avid fisherman.
